Criminal law. Summary.


An acts which are wrong and can be punished by the state are called crimes. But not in all countries the same wrong acts percieved as a crime.
All suspects are innocent before the state has proved his guilty. Actus Reus and Mens Rea are two important elements to a crime. It is very important to court that act was a substantial cause of the result.
In some ways court can exuce defendant's guilty if one of actions are proofed defence like duress, insanity or self-defence. Mitigation can not be equalized with defence.
The rate of crime is growing and people are discussing is euthanasia a crime or not.
